Wandering in the Dark Recesses

Today, was a very hard day... I lost a family member and fast friend that I had had for almost a decade. She was 6 weeks old when she was adopted. After years of pulling on the leash and dragging me along for walks, she suddenly stopped pulling... then the weight loss began... then vomiting... So, she went into the vet. She never left the vet office... I am devastated... Please remember to love and spoil them (not too much, just enough to make their lives fulfilling). Khendra, you were a great dog. I will miss your velvet ears and your eagerness to chase birds and cats, but not knowing that the cats at home were also cats. I love you, sleep well.
